About Me
My Educational Background
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Barton College, where I majored in business management and minored in economics. While I was studying, I also had an internship with Merrill Lynch. I eventually worked in a financial services company after graduating and assisted people with their pre and post-retirement needs.
Expertly Managing Financial Decisions
Having spent 20 years in the retirement planning industry, I am now the chief financial officer of Freedom Equity Finance, Inc. I have met a few extremely influential people over the years, and have gained extensive knowledge and resources from my relationships with them.
As a result, I was able to build a successful financial business model for Freedom Equity Finance, Inc. I am confident that this framework will be sustainable for many years to come.
A Trusted Insurance Provider
Since 2001, I have been assisting hundreds of clients with their retirement planning, estate planning, and insurance needs. I am the founder and president of MLO Associates, LLC, and I have worked with people across North Carolina and several other states.
In 2006, I formed MLO Associates, LLC to help people with retirement income planning, life insurance planning, legacy planning, and tax advantage planning strategies. Aside from my expertise in the insurance industry, I also hold a real estate broker’s license in the state of North Carolina.
Other Affiliations
For three years, I was the treasurer of a nonprofit group called Hands of Compassion International. I take pride in how I managed all of the financial aspects of the organization during my time there.
A Teamwork Approach
My wife Amy, who has her life insurance license, and I make a great team and she regularly works alongside me with clients. We live in North Carolina together with our four beautiful daughters. We firmly believe that none of our success would be possible without God.
